The Gabi Mueller Series

By Tricia Goyer & Mike Yorkey

About the Series

The Gabi Mueller Series plunges readers into the shadows of World War II Europe, where Swiss-American spy Gabi Mueller operates in the most dangerous places on the continent, armed with nerves of iron, a gift for safecracking, and a faith that refuses to let fear have the final word. These are not quiet romance novels with a hint of intrigue. They are full-throttle historical thrillers that move with the relentless pace of a great action film, rooted in the real events and real stakes of the war's most pivotal moments.

Authors Tricia Goyer and Mike Yorkey collaborate to bring the taut atmosphere of wartime espionage to life, where every word may carry a double meaning and you truly cannot trust anyone. Offering multiple viewpoints and an illuminating look at the inner workings of wartime Europe, the Gabi Mueller Series is Christian fiction that pulls no punches — action-heavy rather than romance-heavy historical fiction that never shies away from sequences of intense peril.

For fans of WWII history, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and heroines who choose courage over safety, this series delivers on every page.

About the Authors

Tricia Goyer is a USA Today bestselling author of more than 70 books. Her novels Night Song and Dawn of a Thousand Nights are both winners of the American Christian Fiction Writers' Book of the Year Award for Long Historical Romance. Mike Yorkey is a veteran author, collaborator, and editor. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 books with more than two million copies in print, including the internationally bestselling Every Man's Battle series. Married to a Swiss native, Yorkey lived in Switzerland for eighteen months — a background that gives the Gabi Mueller series an insider's authenticity that readers immediately feel on the page.

Book 1: The Swiss Courier

It is August 1944 and the Gestapo is mercilessly rounding up suspected enemies of the Third Reich. When Joseph Engel, a German physicist working on the atomic bomb, finds that he is actually a Jew, adopted by Christian parents, he must flee for his life to neutral Switzerland. Gabi Mueller is a young Swiss-American woman working for the newly formed American Office of Strategic Services — the forerunner to the CIA — close to Nazi Germany. When she is asked to risk her life to safely courier Engel out of Germany, the fate of the world rests in her hands. If she can lead him to safety, she can keep the Germans from developing nuclear capabilities. But in a world of traitors and double agents, whom can she trust along the way?

Endorsements from fellow authors say it all: Christopher Reich, New York Times bestselling author, calls it "a winner." Amanda Cabot praises it as "an unforgettable story of faith and courage when faced with the highest of stakes." Bob Welch writes that it "sizzles like a 24 episode with a World War II twist — the pulsating action and plot twists will keep you riveted." And Kathleen Fuller calls it "a tense, fast-paced thriller and a masterful blend of history and intrigue."

Book 2: Chasing Mona Lisa

As the soldiers of the Third Reich flee the Allied advance, they ravage the country, stealing countless pieces of art. Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring will stop at nothing to claim the most valuable one of all, the Mona Lisa, as a post-war bargaining chip to secure his escape to South America. Set in France in the summer of 1944, Chasing Mona Lisa follows Swiss OSS agents Gabi Mueller and Eric Hofstadler in their mission to save the Mona Lisa from Göring's clutches.

Endorsed by fellow authors, Cara Putman calls it "a ticket to a world of mystery, heroism, and adventure" and Lynn Vincent, New York Times bestselling writer of Heaven Is for Real, says simply: "Tricia Goyer and Mike Yorkey had me at hello." Readers who loved The Swiss Courier have declared that Goyer and Yorkey have done it again.
