The Finding Love Series

By Tricia Goyer & Ocieanna Fleiss

About the Series

Across three beautifully distinct settings — the wild Alaskan coastline, the factories of wartime Seattle, and the untamed frontier of nineteenth-century Montana — these novels follow women who find themselves far from everything familiar, thrust into circumstances that demand more courage and faith than they thought they had. Each story weaves together past and present, pairing a contemporary or frontier heroine's journey with a parallel love story from another era, so that readers see how God's faithfulness runs through generations.

About the Authors

Tricia Goyer is the author of more than 75 books and a USA Today bestselling author. She has won two Carol Awards and a Retailer's Best Award, and has been recognized as both an ECPA Gold Medallion and a Christy Award Finalist. She's been featured on KOMO 4 TV News, US News and World Report, and speaks at churches, parenting groups, and writers conferences.

Book 1: Finding Love at Glacier Bay

Singer Ginny Marshall is one signature away from the recording contract of her dreams, a deal that would guarantee success for the former foster child, who still struggles to bury the memories of her painful childhood. But Ginny needs advice from the one person who will look out for her best interests — her former fiancé, Brett Miller. She travels to the remote town of Glacier Bay, Alaska, where the town's colorful characters and stunning scenery provide respite from LA's pressures.

In Glacier Bay, Ginny discovers a box of old letters and is swept up in the love story between Clay, an early missionary to Alaska Territory, and Ellie, the woman who traveled there to be his children's governess. As past and present begin to mirror each other, Ginny must decide what she truly wants. And whether trusting God means trusting Brett again.

Book 2: Finding Love at Victory Heights

The Second World War has stolen Rosalie's fiancé from her. But rather than wallow, Rosalie throws herself into her work at the Boeing plant in Victory Heights, shooting rivets into the B-17 bombers that will destroy the enemy. A local reporter dubs her Seattle's Own Rosie the Riveter, and her story lends inspiration to women across the country.

While Rosalie's strong arms can bear the weight of this new responsibility, her heart cannot handle the intense feelings that begin to surface for Kenny, the handsome reporter. Fear of a second heartbreak is a powerful opponent, but will it claim victory over love?

Book 3: Finding Love at Lonesome Prairie

Julia Cavanaugh has never left New York City. But in 1890, the young woman must head west to ensure that the orphans under her care are settled into good families. After her final stop in Montana, she plans to head straight back east. But upon arriving in the remote town of Lonesome Prairie, Julia learns to her horror that she is also supposed to be delivered into the hands of an uncouth miner who carries a bill of purchase for his new "bride." She turns to a respected circuit preacher to protect her from a forced marriage but with no return fare and few friends, Julia's options are bleak.

What begins as a desperate situation slowly becomes something else entirely — a story of community, unexpected kindness, and the slow dawning awareness that God's plans rarely look like ours, and rarely turn out worse. This lively frontier romance is rich with period detail and the warmth of a community that surprises at every turn.
